Guests arrive in time to toast our Great Rail Journey. Introductions to fellow revellers are made, compartments assigned and dinner arrangements shared. Personal butlers will assist guests with their luggage and see to their every comfort during the trip. Dress: Smart, or if you prefer arrive in your Olde Worlde Glamour Dinner Attire. 15h00 SHARP The Blue Train sets off in a plume of smoke, then hoists a nostalgic whistle. We are on our way to Malalane Station, Mpumulanga. Choooo-chooo! 15h00 - 18h00 At leisure and change for dinner. 18h00 Pre-Dinner Drinks in the Club Car or Lounge Car accompanied by the quintessential Train Playlist: Beautiful in Beaufort West, Peace Train and Downtown Train to name a few. Toasts and Quips may be offered. But be warned, there will be a 60 second timer with a gong - so absolutely no rambling! Dress: Olde Worlde Glamour 20h30 Linger over a five-course meal that will be served in the Dining Car. Butlers will escort guests to their tables. All speeches are deferred to Saturday night due to space and acoustic constraints in the train. 23h00 Cognacs, Cuban Cigars and Good Times shared and remembered are savoured in the Lounge Car, before retiring to bed. |

Breakfast is served in the Dining Car on a First-Come-First-Serve-Basis. 10h00 The train arrives at Malalane Train Station, Platform 9¾. Please remember to tip your butler if this is your final destination. Guests disembark and are transferred to their designated accommodation at Leopard Creek Country Estate. 12h00 - 15h00 50’s Pool Party with a feather-light lunch at the Recreation Centre’s Deck and Olympic Sized Pool. (Not private) For those guests with energy to burn, we have some friendly pool volleyball fixtures. Dress: 50’s Bathing Suits and Swimming Caps, Beach Paraphernalia and Audrey Hepburn Hats. 15h00 - 18h00 At Leisure 18h00 - 19h00 Sundowners quaffed on the Rec.-Deck whilst enjoying the predator’s view over the Crocodile River. 19h00 till late Raindance Boma Braai at the Rec. Centre Dinner, Dancing under the African Sky and a few Pared-to-the-Bone Formalities Dress: Africa is Home |
